# SommarRock Svedala 2026: Swedish rock, Volt on site

SommarRock Svedala 2026 ran Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 July at Friluftsbadet in Svedala, a small town between Malmö, Lund and Trelleborg ([official schedule](https://www.sommarrock.nu/spelschema/?ref=resources.getvolt.dk)). Volt was on site with Event Lockers and Volt Self-Service Charging, so festival goers had somewhere for their stuff and a way to keep their phone alive across three days of music.

## Bags and getting in

There is no bag ban: every bag gets checked at the gate, and the organisers ask festival goers to pack light to keep the queue moving ([security and rules](https://www.sommarrock.nu/sakerhet-regler/?ref=resources.getvolt.dk)). Banned items include glass and metal bottles, aerosol containers, fireworks and weapons; alcohol brought from outside is not allowed in, and no one under 18 can drink on site ([security and rules](https://www.sommarrock.nu/sakerhet-regler/?ref=resources.getvolt.dk)). ## Getting there

Svedala sits between Malmö, Lund and Trelleborg. Skånetrafiken runs extra departures to Malmö and Ystad on festival days, and it is a short walk from Svedala station to the festival grounds at Friluftsbadet; extra buses also run to Trelleborg and Staffanstorp via Klågerup ([directions](https://www.sommarrock.nu/hitta-hit-boende/?ref=resources.getvolt.dk)). On-site parking is limited, so the festival points drivers to a handful of streets in central Svedala instead, plus a free, first-come motorhome area in town (no tents or cars allowed there).
