The 2026 edition, themed Rise of Titans, brought together around 35,000 festival goers across three days, ten stages and 400-plus artists. Camping is at the centre of the experience: IntentsCity sits right next to the festival grounds, and most of the crowd treats the weekend as a full mini-holiday. Running since 2004, Intents has grown from a regional event into one of the most recognised outdoor hardstyle festivals in Europe. The focus is consistent: the harder styles of dance music, with hardstyle at the core and rawstyle, uptempo and hardcore filling the other stages. Each edition is built around a theme that shapes the stage designs, the art installations and the closing endshows.

The crowd reflects that focus. A large share of festival goers come specifically for the music and the camping weekend, not because they stumbled across the lineup. IntentsCity, the official festival camping, is adjacent to the festival grounds with its own entrance and its own programme of activities. The 2026 edition: Rise of Titans

The 2026 theme, Rise of Titans, ran a mythological storyline across the weekend: ancient forces awakening, Olympus as the backdrop, power and spectacle as the tone. The production team built this into the stage designs and the endshows. The Saturday endshow included fireworks and pyrotechnics, which is a fixture of the Intents closing experience.

Lineup highlights

The ten stages used a hosting format: groups and labels took creative control over a full area for the day. Key acts in 2026 included D-Block and S-te-Fan, Phuture Noize, D-Sturb, Sub Zero Project, Da Tweekaz, Rebelion, Dual Damage and Paul Elstak. Radical Redemption and Kruelty performed their first collaborative live set on the main stage. The Straikerz hosted the Dynamite tent.

Journey sets, where artists reflect on their catalogue and development, featured heavily across Saturday. Multiple live acts were spread across the three days rather than concentrated on one night.

IntentsCity: the camping

Accommodation types

IntentsCity offers several options depending on group size and comfort level:

• Own tent pitch: bring your own tent and set up on a standard campsite plot.
• CityYard: a reserved enclosed area for your group, with a personalised nameplate.
• Friendship District: the largest group option, enclosed, with room for bigger party tents.
• FestiTent: a pre-erected tent for 1 to 4 people with storage space inside and clothes hooks.
• Festipi: a tipi-style tent.
• Urban Boutique: comes with electricity.
• IntentsResort: the luxury option, bookable separately.

All camping visitors must leave IntentsCity by Monday at 12:00.

Camping check-in and exit windows

The camping has specific windows for leaving and returning during the weekend:

• Friday: 09:00 to 22:30
• Saturday: 08:30 to 20:00
• Sunday: 08:30 to 17:00

Outside those windows, wristbands are cut on exit. Plan your departures around these times if you need to leave the camping and return.

What you can bring to IntentsCity

The camping allows your own food and soft drinks (no stated limit). Alcohol is permitted up to one six-pack of beer or two litres of wine per person. No glass anywhere on site. Cans and plastic bottles only. No hard liquor.

Speakers are allowed up to 50x25x20 cm. A party tent of 3x3 m is fine on a standard pitch. In a Friendship District, larger tents are permitted as long as they stay within the district boundary.

Not permitted at IntentsCity: glass, hard liquor, bikes, laser pens, generators, large gas bottles (small disposable BBQs and single-burner gas stoves are allowed in the designated BBQ zone), drones, open fires, or sofas.

Medications are permitted with a doctor's statement.

Camping facilities

IntentsCity has a 24-hour bar, a supermarket for essentials, bathhouses (one running 24/7, the other with limited weekend hours), and showers that are free between 03:00 and 08:00. Outside those hours, a token is required. The Greenside area offers quieter hours from 01:00 to 08:00 for a small environmental surcharge.

Activities on the camping in 2026 included an afterparty, Mega Beerpong, hot tubs and Stef Stuntpiloot shows.

Getting to Oisterwijk

Oisterwijk is in North Brabant, roughly 12 km from Tilburg and 20 km from Den Bosch. Getting there by public transport or organised bus is straightforward. All transport tickets are sold through the official ticketshop ↗; buy them in advance.

Train and shuttle from Oisterwijk station

The nearest station is Oisterwijk (direct trains from Den Bosch and Tilburg). Shuttle buses run between the station and the festival during the following hours:

• Friday: 13:30 to 00:30
• Saturday: 10:30 to 23:45
• Sunday: 12:30 to 00:00

Camping visitors have an additional shuttle between the station and the IntentsCity entrance on Friday (09:00 to 22:30) and Monday morning return (07:30 to 12:00 from Zwembad d'n Donk).

Snelbussen from regional cities

Snelbus coaches depart directly from six cities to the festival site and back. In 2026, departure cities were Tilburg, Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Helmond, Weert and Breda. These are sharply priced compared to combining train and shuttle, and they drop you at the festival entrance. Book via the official ticketshop; they typically sell out.

By car: day visitors

Day visitors park for free in Moergestel (just outside Oisterwijk) and take a shuttle bus to Entrance 1 (Sportlaan). Shuttle times from the Moergestel Transferium:

• Friday: 13:30 to 01:00
• Saturday: 10:30 to 01:30
• Sunday: 12:30 to 00:30

A Transferium shuttle ticket must be purchased in advance. Day visitors leave via Entrance 1 (Sportlaan). Note: leaving the festival grounds mid-day is not permitted (the camping is separate and can be exited within the windows above).

By car: camping visitors

Camping visitors head to parking area P6, which is within five minutes' walk of Entrance 3 (the camping entrance). P6 connects to the camping; Entrance 3 is only open on Friday for arrivals. Note: parking tickets are single-scan; if you drive out and return, you need a new parking ticket.

Event Lockers and powerbank rental

Intents runs two locker zones. Which zone suits you depends on how you arrive:

• Locker zone 1: for festival goers arriving on foot or by bike from Oisterwijk, or by the Saturday or Sunday shuttle from Oisterwijk station or the Moergestel Transferium.
• Locker zone 2: for festival goers arriving on organised buses, party buses or kiss-and-ride, and for those using the Friday shuttle from Oisterwijk station or the Transferium.

Event Lockers at Intents are provided by Volt. Powerbank rental is also available on site. Lockers are booked online before the festival: you receive your locker number and access code by email ahead of your slot, and you can open and close the locker as many times as you like during opening hours.

On-site facilities

The festival grounds have two large food courts serving pizza, fries, waffles and rolls. Bars and drinks stands are spread across all areas. Payment is cashless across the site.

Earplugs are available at merchandise stands. The production at Intents is loud by design, and the Saturday endshow is particularly intense. Bring your own or buy them on site.

No own food or drink is allowed on the festival grounds. The camping is separate: own food and soft drinks are permitted there.

Other facilities on site include free accessible toilets (including accessible toilets near the first aid post), a sunscreen application station, massage, a hairdresser, VIP decks and multiple lounge areas between the stages.
