Event Lockers at Fjordlys 2026 cost from 75 kr, are booked in the official Volt presale, and open with a personal access code sent by email and SMS.
Event Lockers at Fjordlys 2026 are booked online through the official Fjordlys presale, cost from 75 kr, and open with a personal access code that is shown the moment you pay and sent to you by email and SMS. You can go back to your locker as many times as you like during the festival at no extra cost. Here is the full guide: what the lockers are, what fits inside, how booking works and what to do when the last song fades out over the harbour.
What Event Lockers are
Event Lockers are Volt's bookable lockers at the festival itself. No key, no paper ticket, no queue at a deposit desk: you book online, get a locker number and a personal access code, and open your locker yourself whenever you need it during opening hours. Volt runs lockers and charging at over 120 festivals and events, and Fjordlys 2026 is one of them.
At Fjordlys the lockers solve a very concrete problem. The festival happens on the harbour in Frederiksværk, and the official festival FAQ puts large bags on the list of things you cannot bring in, while confirming that storage for personal items is available on site. So the smart move is simple: arrive light, lock away everything you do not need in your hands, and enjoy the music without playing bag guard all day.
Sizes: what fits inside
Fjordlys has one locker size, roughly 30 by 30 by 50 centimetres according to the Fjordlys festival guide. Think day bag, not weekend duffel. That is comfortably enough room for:
- a small bag or tote that stays within the festival's bag rules
- an extra layer for the evening, because it gets cooler down by the water
- a powerbank, cables, sunscreen and sunglasses
- wallet, keys, medication and anything else you would hate to lose in a crowd
If your packing list is bigger than that, leave the rest at your accommodation and bring only what the day actually needs.
How to book
Booking runs through the Fjordlys 2026 presale on getvolt.dk. Pick the locker, pay, done: your locker number and personal access code are shown right after purchase and sent to you by both email and SMS. There is nothing to print and nothing to collect at an info stand.
Booking ahead beats hoping on the day. There is a fixed number of locker doors at the festival, and when they are taken, they are taken.
How the lockers work on the day
Where do I find my code?
It is shown right after purchase and sent by email and SMS. Cannot find it? Check your spam folder first. If it is still hiding, the on-site staff can help you out.
Can I open my locker more than once?
Yes. Access is unlimited during your rental period at no extra cost, any time within opening hours. Drop a jacket in, grab your powerbank out, swap your sunglasses for a hoodie, repeat as often as you like.
Is my locker secure?
Every locker has its own personal access code, and the locker area is monitored regularly. Storage is still at your own risk, so treat it as a much safer place than the dance floor, not as a bank vault.
What do I do when the festival ends?
Leave your locker empty, closed and locked before you head home. Volt is not responsible for items left behind, and anything forgotten may end up with the venue's Lost and Found.
What if I book a locker and never use it?
Booked rental periods are not refunded if they go unused, so book when you know you are going.
Power sorted too
A locker keeps your things safe, but it does not keep your phone alive. Volt also runs the Volt Charging Service at Fjordlys: rent a Volt-Charger, a pocket-sized powerbank, and swap it for a fresh one once a day at the staffed Volt booth. Locker for the stuff, Volt-Charger for the battery, and you are covered from the first chord to the last.
Good to know before you go
Fjordlys 2026 takes place on 10 and 11 July at the harbour in Frederiksværk, Havnelinjen, 3300 Frederiksværk, according to the official FAQ. Opening hours are announced by the festival on that same page, so give it a quick check before you head out.
Getting there without a car is easy: the festival's travel info points to the local train from Hillerød, with both Frederiksværk and Hanehoved stations within walking distance of the site. Parking exists but is limited and first come, first served. One more argument for travelling light and letting a locker carry the load.
And if it is your first time: Fjordlys bills itself as the year's cosiest festival in Frederiksværk and is run entirely by volunteers, which is a big part of why the whole thing feels so warm and homely.
