What Event Lockers are

Event Lockers are Volt's bookable lockers for festivals and events: a personal locker with a digital access code instead of a key, reserved online so it is waiting for you when you arrive. It is the same setup Volt runs at over 120 festivals and events in 2026, and GRON's own city pages point festival goers to Volt for locker booking, as you can see on the official Valby page.

At GRON a locker measures about 30 x 30 x 50 cm, which that same page describes as room for a backpack, a jacket and a smaller bag. In practice that covers:

• phone, wallet and keys while you are up front
• a powerbank, so a full charge is waiting for you mid-afternoon
• sunscreen, a cap and a layer for the evening
• a small backpack or tote once you have unpacked it

Worth knowing before you pack: GRON's entry rules are on the strict side. You can bring your own food, knives are banned, and water is the only drink you can carry through the gate, per the official Valby page. A small bag plus a locker is the relaxed combination.

Where to book

Booking happens on the GRON presale at getvolt.dk. Each city and date has its own locker product, all at 75 DKK per show, so pick the stop you are attending, pay, and you are done. Going to two shows? Book one locker per show.

Everything after checkout is digital. Your locker number and personal access code are shown right after purchase and sent by email and SMS. Nothing to print, nothing to queue for at a service desk.

Open it as often as you like

Access is unlimited during the rental period, at no extra cost. Drop the sunscreen at 15:00, fetch the powerbank at 17:00, swap it all for a jacket when the sun dips. Each locker has its own personal access code and the locker area is monitored regularly, so it stays your locker all day.

Leave it empty at the end

When you head home, take everything with you and leave the locker empty, closed and locked. At GRON there is a hard deadline: all lockers are emptied at 22:00 after the concert ends, per the official Valby page. In Valby the grounds close at 21:45 anyway, so this sorts itself if you clear the locker on your way out. Details can vary by stop, so check your own city's page on groenkoncert.dk before you go.
