The big change this year is the location. Musik i Lejet has pulled up its tent pegs in Tisvildeleje and moved to nearby Vejby in North Zealand. The site address is Rågelejevej 37B, 3210 Vejby. By train: the easy option

Vejby sits on the Gribskovbanen local line (Lokaltog), so the train drops you close to the site. From Copenhagen the route is simple:

• Take an S-train or regional train to Hillerød.
• Change at Hillerød to the Gribskovbanen local train heading toward Tisvildeleje.
• Get off at Vejby, the nearest station to the 2026 site. Tisvildeleje is also on the same line if that suits your plan.

The organiser lays on extra night trains between Vejby, Tisvildeleje and Hillerød when the music finishes, so you are not stranded at 04:00. Festival buses

During the festival there are buses to and from Vejby Station, with stops added around the area. The organiser runs them from roughly 21:00 to 04:00, with stops at Vejby (Movia stop by the station), Holløse, Godhavn and Tisvildeleje.

The buses run on Movia's normal ticket system, so you can tap your Rejsekort, use a period pass, or buy a ticket the same way you would on any train or bus in the capital region. Check the official transport page for the current stop list and hours.

By car and parking

The organiser's honest advice is to leave the car at home and take the train, bus or bike. It is easier on the small local roads and kinder to the nature around the site. If you do drive:

• A free car park sits on the large field at Salgårdshøjvej, about 350 metres from the main entrance, with room for around 750 cars. It is first-come, first-served, and sleeping in cars is not allowed.
• Kiss and ride drop-off is at the same Salgårdshøjvej car park.
• Parking on the main approach roads and the smaller neighbouring streets is not allowed, out of respect for residents, so use the free car park.

Taxis have their own rank directly across the road from the site, under 200 metres from the main entrance. All taxi drop-off and pick-up happens there. Accessible parking is also under 200 metres from the entrance, at the same spot opposite the festival ground at Rågelejevej 37, so bring your blue badge.

Expect reduced speed limits on the roads leading to the site, including Rågelejevej, Holløselundvej and Salgårdshøjvej. No roads are fully closed, and resident traffic stays open.

By bike

Vejby and the surrounding summer-house areas are easy cycling country, and the festival is set up for it. The festival sets up two large bike parks with numbered sections, so you can actually find your bike again after dark:

• The larger bike park is north of the site. If you are coming from Holløselund or Rågeleje, use this one.
• A smaller bike park sits south of the site along Rågelejevej. If you are coming from Vejby, use this one.

Bike lights are on sale at the bike parking on all festival days from 21:00 to 04:00, which is worth knowing if you cycle home in the dark.

When you arrive: keep your day working

Doors are open 14:00 to 04:00, so a full day here is long, and your phone does a lot of the work: tickets, meeting your crew, photos, payment, the walk home.
