O Days

O Days 2026 runs Thursday 30 July to Saturday 1 August at Sønder Hoved on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. Three days of music, art and community on the old industrial harbour island, with the city skyline right across the water. Volt runs the Event Lockers on site, and you can book yours in advance so your day starts hands-free.

Here's everything worth knowing before you go: the quick facts, what the festival is actually like, and the practical stuff every festival goer asks about.

What O Days is like

O Days calls itself a festival where music, art and community unite, and the setting does half the work. You're on the waterfront at Refshaleøen, between old shipyard halls and open sky. Around the stages you'll find installations by up-and-coming designers plus food, drinks and craft beer from local collaborators, as VisitCopenhagen puts it.

The 2026 lineup is worth the ticket on its own. The official program has PinkPantheress on Thursday, Overmono and Sugababes on Friday, and a Disclosure DJ set plus Nia Archives on Saturday, spread across three stages. Set times land closer to the date, so check the program page before you plan your day.

Event Lockers at O Days

Volt runs the Event Lockers here, and the festival's own practical info page spells out the essentials: the lockers sit near the entrance, measure 30×30×50 cm, and booking ahead is recommended. That size handles the small to medium stuff you don't want to carry through a 13 hour day.

What actually fits:

  • A jacket or hoodie for the walk home at 02:00
  • A spare powerbank, cables and sunglasses
  • Keys, wallet, sunscreen, a packable rain layer

Re-entry is allowed during the day, so the locker works as your basecamp: drop things off, grab them when you need them, come and go. You can reserve a locker for a single day or all three days on the Volt presale, and current prices are right there on the page.

First time using one? Here's how Event Lockers work: you open your locker from your phone, no key to lose, and your stuff stays put while you're in front of the stage.

Keeping your phone alive

Gates open at 13:00 and the music runs to 02:00, which makes for a long phone day. Your ticket, your card, your crew's location: all of it lives on that battery. And since the festival is cashfree and card only, a dead phone is more annoying here than most places.

The simple plan: arrive charged, bring a powerbank, and stash the spare in your Event Locker so you can swap when the first one runs flat.

If you've seen the staffed Volt booths around the festival summer, that's the Volt Charging Service: rent a Volt-Charger, swap it for a fresh one once a day at the booth, never think about battery again. Volt is live at over 120 festivals and events in 2026, so odds are you'll run into it somewhere this season.

Getting there

Refshaleøen is easy without a car. Straight from the festival's practical info:

  • Bus: the 2A stops right next to the site, at the Refshaleøen stop
  • Harbour bus: stops in front of the festival during the daytime
  • Bike: the local move, with several parking areas near the entrance
  • Car: parking on Refshalevej is limited, so read the signs carefully

Check Rejseplanen for departure times on the day, especially for the last ride home after 02:00.

Good to know

  • Card only. The whole site is cashfree.
  • You can't bring your own food or drinks, but an empty water bottle is fine.
  • You need to be 18 or older to buy alcohol, and ID can be requested, per the site rules.
  • Umbrellas, selfie sticks and professional camera gear without a press pass are on the banned list. The full list is in the site rules.
  • Details can shift before gates open, so give the official practical info page a last look before you head out.

Book your locker before you go

The festival itself recommends booking lockers in advance, and locker capacity tends to go before the good spots at the front do. Reserve your Event Locker for O Days, pick a single day or all three, and you're done. The only thing left to decide is which stage you start at on Thursday.
