Spejdernes Lejr

Spejdernes Lejr 2026 runs from 18 to 26 July 2026 in Hedeland Naturpark, west of Copenhagen. It is the Nordic region's largest scout jamboree: around 30,000 scouts and leaders build a temporary town with its own square, supermarket and four subcamps, then live in it for nine days. Volt is on site with Volt Self-Service Charging, and the presale is open now.

The camp returns to Hedeland, the same nature park that hosted the 2022 edition, though the site has moved a bit further east this time. Hedeland is a former gravel pit turned rolling green landscape, which is how a scout camp ends up with its own ski slope.

What Spejdernes Lejr 2026 is like

Think of it as a pop-up town rather than a campsite. The area is split into four subcamps named Havet, Skoven, Byen and Landet, with Spejdertorvet as the central square: supermarket, bakery, food trucks and cafes. The biggest shared moments happen at the ski slope, where there is room for more than 30,000 people at the big events.

More than 300 activities run across the site during the week, and many are drop-in, so you do not need any scouting experience to join. Browse the activity catalogue to see what is planned. Even the kitchen has a plan: food at the jamboree is primarily vegetarian and at least 30 percent organic.

Getting there and visiting for a day

You do not need to be a scout to see it. Visiting is free on all days of the camp; the only cost is a small parking fee if you come by car.

Public buses connect the camp with both Roskilde and Høje Taastrup stations during the main camp days, roughly every 30 to 60 minutes. Times and routes can change, so check the official visitor page before you travel. Arriving by bike or on foot works too, and both stations have onward connections across Zealand and Copenhagen.

Charging at Spejdernes Lejr 2026

Nine days in a tent with a phone full of maps, schedules and check-ins from home is exactly the situation powerbanks were made for. At Spejdernes Lejr 2026, Volt runs Volt Self-Service Charging: self-service Volt Charging stations placed around the camp, the same setup festival goers use at events across Denmark all summer.

It works like this: grab a Volt-Charger, a pocket-sized powerbank with three charger cables built in, keep it with you while your phone charges, and return it to any station when you are done. No hunting for sockets, no waiting by a wall.

The presale for the camp is live now. The 2-Hour Charging Pass gives you a fully charged Volt-Charger once per day, every day of the camp: book online before you pack, get your magic link, and redeem your daily pass at any self-service Volt Charging station on site. How the service works in detail is on our charging service page.

Event Lockers and the rest of the Volt toolbox

Charging is one part of what Volt does at over 120 festivals and events. Event Lockers give people a safe spot for passports, wallets and camera gear, and Cool Lockers do the same for food and medication that needs to stay cold. At many festivals Volt also runs the staffed Volt Charging Service, where you rent a Volt-Charger and swap it for a fresh one once a day at a Volt booth, plus Soundlock, which locks and charges a SOUNDBOKS.

For Spejdernes Lejr 2026, the confirmed offer is the charging pass; the presale collection always shows what is live for the camp. Organisers who want Event Lockers or charging at their own event can start from the service pages above.

Before you go

Lock in the dates: 18 to 26 July 2026 in Hedeland Naturpark. Keep an eye on the official site for practical updates as camp gets closer, and sort your charging before you pack: the 2-Hour Charging Pass presale is the easiest thing you will tick off the list.
