A new home in Vejby
The 2026 edition marked a significant shift: Musik i Lejet moved to its new permanent site at the former Tisvildeleje Camping after planning complications at the previous location. The coastal character of the festival, where the village and its beach set the backdrop, transfers to the new address. Tickets and entry
Three-day partout passes routinely sell out ahead of the festival. If you are planning ahead, keep an eye on musikilejet.dk from early in the year; that is where the official presale goes live. Day tickets are 1,195 kr, with the full three-day partout pass at 2,295 kr; children under 12 get in free. Bags, storage and Event Lockers
Large backpacks go through a thorough inspection at the gates; security checks everyone. Volt runs Event Lockers on site: approximately 30 × 30 × 50 cm, secured with a personal access code sent to you by email and SMS just before your slot opens. You can open and re-lock as many times as you like during festival hours; the lockers are monitored and under cover. Good for a daypack, a jacket, valuables, or anything you do not want to haul between stages.

Volt runs a staffed charging service at Musik i Lejet. Pick up a Volt-Charger at a staffed booth when you arrive, pay a refundable deposit, and swap it for a fully charged one once a day at any Volt swapping point on site. Three cable types are built in, so it works with whatever phone you have.

What to leave at home
